New Homes

Build a new home that is up to 100% more energy efficient than the average new home.

Building with Ultimate Construction, you will gain:
• Greater home comfort
• Lower energy bills
• Improved indoor air quality
• Financial incentives
• Quality assurance

The Ultimate Construction team works with sub-contractors to build their new homes that are between 25 and 100 percent more efficient than homes built to Wisconsin’s Uniform Dwelling Code. They are built to be as comfortable, durable, combustion safe and energy efficient as possible.

The Oak Ridge study discovered that structural insulated panels perform at about 97% of their stated R-value overall, losing only 3% to seams, splines and nail holes.

New Homes Program Advantages

Ultimate Construction will make sure your home meets the highest standards for energy efficiency, combustion safety, comfort and durability—ensuring your dream home is also a sound investment. In addition to a more energy efficient home, you will also enjoy other benefits, including:

• Dedicated builders – Ultimate Construction rewards builders for constructing homes to be as efficient as possible, so you know your new home will be built to save and last.
• Lower energy bills – An Ultimate Construction New Home is at least 25 percent more efficient than homes that are merely built to code, which means lower energy costs and more efficient performance.
• Comfort – Expect air tightness that minimizes drafts and creates superior indoor air quality; sealed combustion equipment and carbon monoxide detectors ensure combustion safety and whole-house ventilation for proper circulation.
• Proof of quality – Your Building Performance Consultant conducts two site visits to review construction, mechanicals and overall performance; conducts scientific tests to ensure the proper performance of the air sealing, insulation, ventilation and combustion equipment; and, once the home passes all reviews and tests, certifies your home.
• Resale differentiator – Ultimate Construction New Home owners who have sold their homes reported that prospective buyers valued energy efficiency when purchasing a home.

Scott of Ultimate Construction built our home many years ago (15+) and we love it! He stands behind his work! Over the years we have had some other work that needed to be done & we always call on Scott because we know he gets the job done in a timely manner. He & his crew have been nothing but professional and friendly. I would build again with Scott in a heartbeat!

We work with EPS who manufactures high-performance, sustainable homes made with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).

Ultimate Construction constructs homes using SIPS panels. We work with EPS who manufactures high-performance, sustainable homes made with Structural Insulated Panels. They manufacture the roof trusses, roof panels, floor trusses, basement panels and completely engineered building shells. These buildings are superior in both energy-efficiency and long-term durability. SIP homes use insulated wall and roof panels that are up to 15 times more airtight than traditional construction, resulting in more comfort and long-term durability.

A new home built with SIPs-structural insulated panels reduces air movement and drafts, moisture, noise and helps keep dust and allergens from penetrating. A SIP home can also be constructed faster and with less labor because the insulation, framing and sheathing are combined into one panel at the EPS manufacturing facility.

An EPS SIP home package combines building science with high performance products to create a new home that is environmentally friendly yet offers the comfort and conveniences a homeowner wants.
